Liverpool dominated the 2nd half, but manunited on the counter attack with ronaldo crossing a perfect inch ball for rooney, only to take his shot wide when he was 1-on-1 with the goalkeeper. had that ball gone in, surely its over for liverpool. Liverpool had a chance to draw level on the 95minute when they were awarded a free kick. Gerrard stepped up, and curled his shot on the roof of the net. the whistle goes. 1-0 to manunited. victory over liverpool would never be as sweet.
